tucan2 400x300The trip normally begins from your hotel in Manaus or from the airport at 8:00 AM, and goes to the port of Ceasa - this will be by car or van. Then crossing to the other side, along the way you will be able to see the magnificent "Meeting of the Waters", upon  arrival at the port of Careiro, there you will be transported by van or car ( depending on the number of people) along the BR 319- this takes approximately 40 minutes. Then arriving at the community of Araça, where you will be transported by speed boat to either Mamori or Juma base camp ( this depends on the location of operation.)

Arriving at approx. 11:30 AM.Lunch is served at 12:00 noon. At 14:00 hrs by canoe you will go "piranha fishing" along with the guide. Upon return to the lodge later in the afternoon you can relax while looking at the dolphins as they play in the lake also observing the sun set.

After dinner, you will go "caiman spotting" . after this activity, you will retire for the night.On the morning of the second day after breakfast, you will leave to go trekking through the jungle after this you will be able to make a short visit to a native community, where you will be able to witness their simple way of life.


After lunch you will make preparation to return to Manaus, arriving at approx. 17:00 hrs.  NB: These activities are flexible and can be negotiated with the guide.

5The Amazon boat tour its done on the south of Manaus aboard a two story house boat equipped with kitchen, shower, beds with mosquito nets and also hammocks.

At 08:00 AM transfer from your hotel in downtown to the port of Ceasa, from there you will travel by speed boat to cross the meeting of the water going to the village of Careiro. From there you will be transported by van for about 45 minutes to the Araça river, where you will reach the house boat . From this place you will begin your Amazon boat tour going to the Mamori Lake, which is the place where you will spend your first night. After lunch you will leave on a motorized canoe for piranha fishing, bird watching, later in the evening watching the sunset from the middle of the lake and will return to the house boat at 6:30pm. The dinner will be served at 7pm, at 8pm you will go "caiman spotting spotting".

On the morning of the 2nd day at 5:30am, canoe trip to see the nature in the morning (the sunrise and some species of birds) returning to the house boat for breakfast. Then you will go trekking through the jungle. During the trekking you will see some medicinal plants, spiders and monkeys of the Amazon jungle.
After lunch when you are relaxing, the house boat will moves further upstream to the Juma Lake, 3 hours away from the Mamori Lake. Juma is a protected reserve, which offers more possibilities of spotting wild life and Amazon creatures.

On the following day you will be able to go paddling through the flooded forest and visiting the Indigenous people, observing their lifestyles and customs.

Depending on the number of days you plan spending on the boat tour, you will be able to do all of the activities available and return to sleep on the boat, or if you chose to sleep in the jungle , you can return to take a shower and breakfast on the boat.

Here is where you will be able to experience the Amazon jungle at its best. You will be able to hunt for wild animals, be shown a bit of the rubber production process among other exiting activities.

On day 3 you will go camping deeper into the jungle this depends on how may nights you choose to spend camping outdoors, you will go spear fishing at night.

On the 4th day bird watching and you will also be able to go canoeing through the smaller river channels "igapós". You will be returning to Mauaus on the evening of the 4th day, arriving at approx. 17:00 hrs.

NB: Different activities can be done upon request and consent of the guide.

ITENARY FOR THIS TOUR

Day 01: At 8am the group is transferred from the hotel to the Ceasa port where a speed boat is used to take visitors to the meeting of the waters, the point where the Negro river and the Solimões river meet. From there they are taken to the Careiro Village on the other side of the Solimões river. From there the journey continues by car or by van for about an hour to the Paraná do Mamori River. From there another speed-boat takes the group to the lodge arriving there at about 11;30am.
At 3pm, the activities begin.  The group leaves by canoe to do the dolphin watching, bird watching, piranha fishing, andsunset watching about 6:30pm. After dinner cayman spotting its done by canoe.

Day 02: At 5:30am a canoe trip is done to watch the sunrise and to get a close up view of the forest waking up to a new day.  At 7am breakfast is served and then at 8am a jungle walk starts and it goes up to 11:30am. During the walk, the guide explains valuable information about the forest. Much is learned about medicinal plants, spiders, trees andthere is even a chance of seeing monkeys.
The afternoon activity starts at 3pm. It is canoeing in the flooded forest and in the small channels. It is a great opportunity to see and learn about the flora and fauna of this fantastic Amazon jungle.

Day 03: From 8am to 11am, the group goes to visit the home of a local family to see and learn their simple andfantastic way of living in the forest. After visiting the locals, the group returns to the lodge and at about1:30pm the journey back to Manaus begins there at about 4:30pm

Located 70 kilomters from Manaus

We leave Manaus using 4 types of transportation: a car or van to the port of  Ceasa, after we take a jet boat with capacity for 30 persons for 40 minutes, during which we will stop to for 10 to 15 minutes to see the famous “meeting of the Waters” between the Nergo and Solimões Rivers. We then continue our trip to Careiro da Varzea where we change to a van with capacity of 8 persons  travelling along the BR319 highway  for about 50 kilometers with duration of approximately 30 to 40 minutes, after which we enter a boat with a 115 HP engine, this takes about 25 minutes when the river is high and a little longer when the river is low. After this journey full of adventure and direct contact with nature, we arrive  at our jungle lodge which is situated in  Mamori in front of the Lake where caimans and dolphins can be seen.

Accommodation: Jungle lodge and accommodation: Lodge with acpacity for 45 persons, it´s accommodations  with private rooms and dormitories with air conditioning and some with fans, also available are accommodations in hammocks all with protection against mosquitoes.

We serve breakfast lunch and diiner all which are included in the package. Attention, alcoholic beverages  are not included in your package.

The largest Tucunare (peacock bass) of over 13kg (28 pounds) was caught here. Other popular species is the Amazon catfish, Tambaqui or Pirarucú.


We organize fishing trips according to your requirements. You can stay on a luxury yacht, regional boat or in a lodge with a/c. We provide 6m canoes with 40hp engine, fishing rods and nets. Our guides are raised in the area and learned how to fish since they were young.
